Aujourd'hui, j'ai fait la trail Porcupine Rim en vélo.

J'ai partagé une partie de la montée avec un 4x4 Mercedes qui avançait à pas de tortue... tout comme moi!

La vue au sommet est toujours aussi belle, et la descente est toujours aussi difficile. (Je n'ai pas cassé mon vélo cette fois-ci)

Today, I biked the Porcupine Rim Trail.

I shared part of the climb with a Mercedes 4x4 that was going at snail pace... like me !.

The view from the top is as nice as last time, and the ride down is as rough as last time...
(I did not crack the frame this time!)

Linda, Lise, Pierre et Canyon sont venus me reconduire au trailhead, puis m'ont attendus à la fin du sentier sur le bord du Colorado, 25 kms plus loin.

Ils en ont profités pour grimper la partie singletrack du sentier, avec vue sur la rivière Colorado.

Linda, Lise, Pierre et Canyon drove me up to the trailhead in Sand Flats Recreation Area, then they waited for me at the end of the trail 25 kms further, at the Colorado River.

They took the time to hike-up the singletrack section of the trail, with great views of the Colorado River.
