We reached Hurricane, Utah, a few miles from the Zion National Park. This is a canyonland with very steeps walls surronding the Zion valley. The park is known for its hiking trails. There are also a few famous mountain bike trails just outside the park.
Nous avons fait deux randonnées
à Zion:
- La première permet de voir les Lower et Upper Pools, où
on peut voir plusieurs chutes d'eau.
- La deuxième est la Watchman Trail, qui monte en haut d'une falaise
qui surplombe la vallée avec une vue superbe du fond du canyon.
We did two hikes in Zion:
- The first one climbs to the Lower and Upper Pools, where you can see
some very high waterfalls.
- The second one is called Watchman Trail, it climbs to the top of a cliff
with a view of the canyon's valley.
Le sentier était assez difficile
par endroits et passait à des endroits où les rochers
étaient spectaculaires.
Arrivés au bout de la randonnée, une magnifique chute
d'eau se fraye un chemin entre les rochers.
It was a fairly difficult trail where
we went around spectacular fallen rocks.
The hike to the top was rewarded by a very high waterfall falling from
a crack in the rock formation.
