It is nice to work when it is warm and dry outside. All you need is the
right tools and a Home Depot near by!

Une infiltration d'eau a fait pourrir
une partie du bois sous le
5th Wheel.
Il a donc fallu enlever le bois détérioré pour
pouvoir le remplacer.
Water made its way under the fiberglass
and slowly made the wood rot.
The rotten plywood was cut off and insulation was removed, to be replaced
by new one.

Le panneau de fibre de verre est collé, les moulures vissés avec des grandes vis en acier inoxidable et le tout bien calfeutré.
C'est meilleur que du neuf...
A new structure is built out of cedar
wood and closed-out with two layers of new plywood.
The fiberglass panel is then glued, calked, and the moldings screwed
with long stainless screws.
I wish they had built it this way the first time...
